Fruzsina Nagy is one of the most unique and creative costumes designers of our times. A show where costumes took the leading role, PestiEsti was one of the last projects before the restructuring of Krétakör Theatre. Villa on Andrássy Avenue reminds the audience of those legendary buildings in Budapest that assisted through history giving place always to the country’s elite while also being a coulisse of romantic and touristic walks.

Taboo collection - special program
Fruzsina Nagy (costume designer), Dóra Halas (composer and conductor) and the 25 members of the Soharóza choir look secret taboos and everyday conventions in the eye. Breaking the rules of tradition and intimacy with humour has led them to organize death parades, acknowledge the ancient power and militancy of the concept of menstrual blood symbolizing fertility, and boldly face up to physical and mental diseases.
